Medplaya Hotel Calypso

We had lot of Holidays ! You tick all our boxes x we love Costa Dorada. Friendly welcome & all staff. Nice room & view. Lovely restaurant, super food & upstairs snacks. All Inclusive beer fine cocktails & all other listed shorts etc. Show every night kids then adult act at 9.30pm Spotless clean ! A good 3+ to 4* Hotel We going back Sept 😀

This is the second time we have been. Lovely clean hotel in a great location close to all the amenities. A lot of work has been carried out on the pools and outside seating area since the last time we were there. It has improved it greatly. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating and work tirelessly to keep guests happy. The only downside is the main restaurant. There is a wide variety of food available however some of the other quests are rude, inconsiderate and act as though they are never going to see food again. They do their upmost to queue jump or just walk out in front of you. It is like a rat race. This was an issue the first time but I believe it was even worse the second time. This makes meal times more of an ordeal than anything else and it is not an enjoyable experience. I would like to reiterate though that the actual hotel, staff and amenities are great! We enjoyed it other than mealtimes

I went here with my school on a trip in which I have to say I really enjoyed myself here! Would recommend going there! The rooms were pretty good, pretty comfortable the only downside would be the TVs in the rooms which are pretty bad compared to other hotels I have been at but I didn’t really use them that much! The food is pretty good as it is all inclusive from my experience, the little there yogurts were so good definitely would recommend! The pool was great as well the only downside is since I went for 3 days on the 2nd day I was there the pool was under maintenance which was a downside but it didn’t affect my stay at all! To conclude I would rate this hotel an 8.5/10 definitely would go again if I was to visit salou again!
