I visited this hotel with my mother. This hotel is nice the rooms are good very big and easy to move around and I had a lovely balcony, however the food wasn't the best not much to choose from if you didn't like certain food. The staff were nice most of the time, some were slightly rude but it didn't help that they didn't really speak English either. I wish I knew before picking this hotel that it wasn't very well catered for the British. All of the entertainment was in Spanish, yes I understand I was in Spain but no English at all. I didn't feel very welcomed by the other visitor either, they were quite rude towards me and my mother at some points also. Overall my stay wasn't to bad due to the room and doing day trips, but I don't think I will stay again due to the language barrier and lack of entertainment x
The place is great, beds are soft and comfy, great balcony, same for the bathroom real good with shower n a bath 2in1. The only problem? The food. Meat not cooked enough almost raw, some veggies/mushrooms are cooked but not enough making them either bad tasting or toxic at this point (my friend whom I shared my room with threw them up on the balcony..) Except for the BAD food, everything is great, the pool also is amazing but kinda dangerous for people who can't swim lmao, water depth go as far as 2.60meters deep. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want to eat, but to rest, have fun and anything else it's a great place I guess.
Me and my familys stayed at medplaya Santa monica hotel rooms was actually very nice but very small for a family of 4 . definitely not a family friendly hotel on the website they stated there was activities for the children there was nothing. The only night entertainment they had was bingo and was not catered for the English. The food was so bad im surprise no one has died on 2 separate occasions the pork was so raw it had blood coming out of it. my daughter got very ill and had to take her to the doctors while we was there. We couldnt rist eating back at the hotel so we had to eat at other places for the rest of the week so please if you eat at the restaurant check the food first
