The staff were very helpful at checkin, we only stayed for two nights. The buffet breakfast had a lot of options and the food quality was good. The showers were amazingggg, if I could spend all my time in there I would, great water pressure and hot the whole time. Only complaint was the weird smell in the hallway of our floor.
The hotel has lot of issues, reservation wasn't there after been paid in full, the smell of the room a damp moldy smell, water was dripping from the ceiling in the hallway, our room didn't get clean for two days after we requested, had to ask fir towels every day. When they did clean the room, it wasn't done well. However the breakfast was excellent and the front desk staff was great.
Not a great experience at all! This was a MUCH better hotel when it was a Hard Rock! The rooms were very damp at all times. Our clothes always felt wet and our passports became warped due to the wetness. It was so bad that the lights in the hallway were dripping water! I'm not blaming the humidity of Panama for this because when we visited other places during our trip, things were dry. We never had enough towels. They'd give us one or two and there were three people in our room. We had to use hand towels for washcloths because when we asked for them we were told they ran out. One day, my son and I had to share a towel because no one ever brought any up when we asked. Our rooms weren't cleaned every day and when we would go downstairs or call to tell them about missing towels or an uncleaned room, there was maybe a 15% chance that someone would come. My brother and his family got stuck in an elevator that broke down, and no one ever came to rescue them. It was fate that they got out after being stuck for over 10 minutes in a hot, pitch black elevator! And the check in process is awful! It took forever, and we booked 5 rooms... but somehow they only had 2 rooms for us. So after traveling all day, we had to deal with the stress of not having the rooms that we paid for. Never again! We'll never stay here again.
