Megisti Hotel

We came here as day guests as we wanted to rent the sunbeds on their terrace. Paid 7€ per person for the full day. You can get direct access into the water from the waterside terrace.

I always enjoy my time at Megisti Hotel. The location, service, facilities & staff make for a very pleasant stay on the island. The breakfast provides a variety of choices & always plentiful. Staff are attentive, friendly & aim to please. I love the spaces around the bar & swimming area. Plenty of room to find peaceful spaces that are well maintained. Even for non hotel guests, sun beds are available for only €6. I look forward to staying here again. Always cosmopolitan. Great way to meet new friends.

Relatively large hotel, considering the island's size. There are sunbeds on a large terrace (see picture) and you can walk directly into the water from there. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they ask if you need anything. if you say yes, they'll get it right away, if you say no, thank you, you'll be in peace. We have breakfast included, a fine selection and a calm atmosphere. We don't usually stay in these kinds of hotels so I won't say anything about the quality of the rooms. We think it's fine here. There is a shower, toilet, air conditioning (it is very hot here), a balcony with a sea view (I think all rooms have it). We knew our room would be ready at 14:00, but of course we tried before (the ferry - both - arrives at 1100, so maybe) and it didn't work. 1400 it was clear. One could suggest earlier check in. Then we can get rid of traveling clothes and get out into the city. The last picture is the hotel from the other side of the bay. A fine place!!
