Mehtap Family Hotel

An incident happened here between me and my so called friend where she ended up kicking off and asking the police to remove her from the hotel… I would just like to thank the hotel staff and residents for keeping me happy and safe for the rest of my holiday! The hotel staff was great! They kept checking on my wellbeing everyday. Apologies to anyone who witnessed this, but the hotel is fantastic! Great food and drinks! Definitely recommend and I will be back! But next time without that “friend”.

Tbf it was quite average. The rooms were lovely. Cleaned daily had a nice balcony. The only downfall was having to pay for the Air-conditioning and the fact that the prices for drinks were double the amount you would pay in the UK which was a shame. Staff were amazing but I think it’s just the prices here that sort of ruined it for me. But overall the experience was great also very close to the beach and shops. Breakfast was also lovely with a verity of things to eat and drink options.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! I spent 1 week here. We had 3 rooms on the 4th floor. Balcony's didn't lock and we had young kids. The bedding or towels were not changed at all the full week. The floors in the room are dirty and not mopped. My feet and sons socks were filthy. The shower produced no water, I had to use a family members shower which the water was cold for the full 7 days. The pool area was very slippery and children did have a few falls also never once seen the pool or pool area cleaned. We were b&b but the food was disgusting. We walked in once and never went back. Milk left on table next to cereal in 40+ heat with no air conditioning. Omelette cooked fresh but in a pan full of grease. The outside toilets are absolutely filthy meaning had to climb 4 floors everytime we needed the bathroom. No life guard at pool like other hotels have in the area. Both my friend and sisters room doors didn't lock properly making them feel unsafe , could push it gently and they would open. There was a horrific smell of sewage in both my room and my friends. Very noisy at times. I barely slept a wink with the noise from the bar and from guests shouting in the landings. *** do not read the reviews on Facebook and think that they are all amazing and hotel is so so good because any negative feedback they recieve on there will be deleted***
