Meis Exclusive Hotel

My daughter and I stayed at the Meis hotel. It was before the tourist season ramped up. It was very quiet. The accommodations were fabulous, our room overlooked the Mediterranean. It was spacious and luxurious! The hotel is beautiful, so fresh and bright! The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so much variety. Turkish cuisine is so delicious! Wished I could eat more, lol! As far as location we took a cab to and from centrum Kas. We had a car but wanted to enjoy a cocktail so took cabs to and from. Special thanks to Farouk, Jimmy in the restaurant. The staff so polite and accommodating! It’s an experience I’ll never forget. I wish all the best to the Turks as they are a great people, warm and friendly who deserve all the best in life!

Keep away from this place!!! This hotel provides service when the customer is always wrong. This is the worst experience i had with the hotel staff. After 5 minutes when we arrived from a long trip and tired, we spent 3 hours in the night to get what was offered on the web site. The jacuzzi that was mentioned in the offer was not working, and in another room only with cold water. Talking with the crew was not easy, they don't know English. Nothing was fixed and refunded was refused. In the end we have to find another hotel to have the rest we required. Now I have to go to the Police because the refund was not made and the hotel manager and staff don't pick up the phone. It is a shame that this beautiful place is in the wrong hands.

Make sure to be in the MIDDLE of peak season - or dont even go! I travelled there with my 5-month pregnant wife mid-october, which is the end of the high-season in Kas. The hotel room was fine, except for the jacuzzi on the balcony that smelt like a lot of wine was spilt in it, and therefore we did not use it. We paid more than other property to book this hotel to be able to spend a couple of days without having to go anywhere and relax by the pool and the beach, however the pool was not clean, and a lot of green algae was visible in a big portion of the pool. regarding the beach area, the way down was not practical for my pregnant wife as the few and rails available were either broken or wobbly, and once we arrived at the beach the swimming platform was completely broken and un-safe, and all the lounging areas were in shambles. we ended up leaving the hotel to enjoy the beach somewhere else for the day. When mentioning that to the reception at the time of departure, there was no apology or any gestures, but trying to convince me this was not their fault, and they could not fix it. I emailed the property directly, and i am still to receive any response. This was definitely the worst experience we have had in Kas (3rd time traveling there) and the 6 other hotels we have been at were really worth it - i would NOT book here again and would find other, more serious and customer-oriented hotels!
