Melas Hotel Istanbul

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always thoughtful and very helpful. First impressions matter, and this one was spot on. The rooms are very clean and luxurious. Even though the hotel is located next to a busy (high)way, you don’t hear a thing thanks to the excellent soundproofing. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. The hotel also offers plenty of ways to treat yourself during your stay (like the pool, sauna, etc.). We didn’t use these facilities, but it definitely felt like they are of the same high standard. We chose to travel by tram every day, which worked perfectly for us. The nearest metro station is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel and very manageable. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Had a wonderful and very memorable stay at Melas Istanbul. The service and the staff were the main highlight of our stay. The staff were so hospitable, friendly and attentive. The room was almost flawless, nice beddings and spotless shower room with nice amenities. They also gave us a complimentary bowl of fruits and lokum which was a really nice gesture. Everything was perfect, it also has an easy access to the airport just by taking a metro from a station which is in walking distance (around 10-15 minutes walk). All great and would definitely come and stay here again when I come back to Istanbul.

Beautiful hotel. Service was on par. Restaurants surround the property but most sights will require a train ride. The rooms are modern and have all the amenities. The water pressure is AMAZING. Beds are soft. Gym is very nice. My only complaint is that the walls are THIN. I had to call down to reception to ask them to tell my neighbor to keep the screaming and yelling to a minimum after midnight. Didn't help. Luckily they exhausted themselves after a few hours.
