Melbourne CBD Central Apartment Hotel

Beds were comfortable and request for walk in shower for elderly family member was actioned. Rooms were old, tired and not the cleanest. Definitely in need of some love and attention. Maintenance came in on our first day to change light globes. Some electrical work done in laundry and mess left all over the floor. Unsure why this couldn't have been done when the room was unoccupied. Dryer didn't work and dishwasher wouldn't run. Instead, it leaked water all over the floor and we had to hand wash the dishes from our three day stay on the morning of our departure.

The stay at this hotel was a real challenge for our business trip. We had 3 of us booked in. We started receiving requests from 3 different phone numbers several days out, one asking to upload ID to a link, another asking to send ID to a mobile number and another for instructions. All in all it took 12 phone calls and various messages for us to get access. We honestly felt like we were being scammed as only one number referenced the hotel the others came from a mobile and another from Nital and yet another from endeavour ACT. On arrival we found only one of us could retrieve a key with codes given. For one of us it took 1 hour and 3 new codes to get a bunch of keys that had to be tried in 3 rooms until one opened. There is no one at reception only offsight support by phone which we found frustrating as we arrived at 8pm. On getting into then apartments they were well appointed but the bathrooms weren't up to standard see photos. It's a pity really as the apartments are in a great spot but need some maintenance and need a better system of engagement with customers as what we experienced felt like we were dealing with scammers with all the different numbers being used.

Falsely advertised, I booked a 2 bedroom apartment it’s a studio apartment i.e. kitchen lounge and the bedroom are all one room, with a second bedroom added. It’s dirty and very old the photos used to advertise the hotel must have been taken 20 years ago. When we arrived the reception was vacant we had to phone the receptionist using our phone and wait for 5 minutes until they arrived. Tried to call reception again later and got a voicemail message that said I could not leave a message as the system was full. Very run down, old and dirty, carpets are old and stained.
