Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreat

I had great experience here. Their set menu is good in terms of quality and price. Very kid friendly and suitable for family reunion. Room service is good but be careful with mosquitoes! It takes around 2 hours from Hanoi.

This place was amazing, but you know what made even more spectacular, the tours of the place. There were breathtaking views and the historical monuments were very interesting to explore, especially thanks to the guide Daniel. This trip opened my vision to a new side of history. Something else we really liked was the petting zoo and animal interactions they had EVERY DAY, having a variety of animals such as goats, bunny’s, birds etc etc (credits to the fact that all animals were safe and vaccinated). Even the staff and the people taking care of the animals treated us so well, and helped us gain confidence, also taught us how to approach them safely. I liked the restaurants and they had a very particular cuisine, something that I really like. It was exactly what you would call authentic and original. The rooms were very nice and the style was very accommodating and authentic. The only downside is that multiple rooms found spiders in them, but they were really no problem since they were small. We also liked the pool and how it was integrated so well in the nature. Overall, this place was a nice area to detach from the busy city life and was a very good experience, we would all come again

a perfect resort for a weekend getaway from Hanoi. The hotel itself is a historic gem with many remnants from the French colonial time. If you love photography, there are many beautiful spots throughout the resort. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for families with kids as there is a pet garden with rabbits and pigeons.
