Well-equipped, comfortable and clean rooms with attention to detail! The staff at reception and at the bar were very friendly and helpful - they heated food we brought from the restaurant the next day upon request. The hotel has a nice little Spa with a Turkish Steam Room, which was perfect! The Sauna was on the colder side, and the outdoor pool was too cold for our taste despite the summer heat. Breakfast quality was just mid, which is why I am only giving 4 stars. If higher quality food is provided on our next visit, I will happily upgrade to 5 stars!
I used the spa facilities on Monday. The massage was really good. However, the cleanliness of the jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna were not up to standard. The water in the jacuzzi was dirty, and the jets were not working properly. There was a strange smell in the steam room, and it all needed a deep clean. I sent an email but have had no reply, which is very unprofessional .
My partner and I, along with our small, well-behaved dog, chose your hotel based on its advertised "pet-friendly" policy, which claimed, "We pamper your pet." Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of these promises, and we were deeply disappointed by the lack of consideration and quality during our stay. Below are the key issues we encountered: 1. **Pet Policy Misrepresentation**: - While the hotel claims to be pet-friendly, our dog was restricted to the hotel room and not allowed in any other areas, including the lobby. This made it unnecessarily difficult to navigate the hotel, as we had to cross the lobby to reach our room. - We were charged an additional €35 to have our dog in the room, which we found excessive, especially given the lack of amenities and services provided for pets. 2. **Substandard Room Conditions**: - The room we were assigned was far below the standard we expected. The carpet was stained, the lampshade had water marks, and there was no balcony to speak of, despite the promise of a panoramic view. Instead, our view was of a metal communications tower. - The advertised pet-friendly amenities, such as a dog bed, dog bowls, and a special present for our pet, were not provided upon check-in. When I inquired at reception, I was given a kit containing a blanket and two dog bowls, but this should have been offered proactively at the start of our stay. 3. **Poor Customer Service**: - The receptionist we interacted with was unfriendly and unhelpful, which further added to our frustration. A warm and welcoming attitude is essential in the hospitality industry, and this was sorely lacking during our stay. 4.** Poor hygiene in the spa** - We visited the spa the evening of our arrival and were dismayed to find that the conditions in the steam room and the sauna were unacceptable. The floors in both areas were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned recently. Even the rest area was dirty, the sun beds were dusty and the showers had broken mosaic tiles around the drainage hole. It looked like the cleaning staff had done a very poor job indeed. Given the significant disparity between your advertised promises and the actual experience, we feel misled and believe that the additional pet fee was unjustified. We have stayed at other pet-friendly hotels that provided far better amenities, services, and value for money.
