Melia Castilla

This is one of our favourite hotels in Madrid. Esther at the front desk was amazing and explained everything thoroughly. She answered all our questions and even made recommendations for us to do in town. The pool is great and the rooms are wonderful. Nice washrooms and great overall experience. Highly recommend this property.

Rooms are fairly basic and little small. Breakfast has good variety but is pretty flavorless and the guys at the omelette station don't know how to make good omelettes. They make it soggy with liquid egg seeping out in all directions. Overall I would give it 4 stars but I am sure there must be better options.

This hotel had excellent and friendly staff that went out of their way to help and accommodate. The hotel itself is old and the Carpet needs to be replaced or deeply cleaned. The window view is graffiti and a green gross pool. The bathroom and shower is wonderful. The bathroom door got stuck because it’s old , wooden and sliding . I’d recommend it mainly for the comfortable beds and attentive staff .
