Melia Costa Del Sol

Thanks a lot to all crew of this excellent hotel Meliá. Its great time here. Level tower is perfect with roof pool and lounge. Our room was all-time clean. Breakfast on rooftop was nice and for me better to spotting airplane from nearby airport.

You really can't beat the location although if you are LGBT then you will find yourself having to walk up the steep stairs to the bar area further into Torremolinos. This is the luxury hotel by the beach and the rooms all have a view to the ocean. Their Sunday brunch buffet was nice although I was surprised they do not serve coffee. The counter staff told us breakfast was included but it was not. I suspect lost in translation although he kept telling us not to worry. Well we should've. Overall nice accommodations and convenient.

Generally a good choice for the location, but things have deteriorated slightly since the previous stay. 40 minutes to check in was not the best welcome, while the inclusive breakfast was somewhat disappointing in terms food quality/taste. Room lacked some basic items. On the plus side, the place is clean and has good options for pool relaxation/evening entertainment. The staff are generally very nice with a few exceptions where some individuals just lacked friendliness. At this price point, would consider other options in the future as this Melia doesn’t quite live up to its standards.
