Melia Phuket Mai Khao

We had the most amazing stay at Melia Mai Khao. The staff were exceptionally and really made the stay feel special. We had the suite with an outdoor bath and it was beautiful. Incredibly clean and felt very private and secluded. We ventured down to Nai Yang beach on our second last day and barely stayed an hour before rushing back to the beautiful sanctuary of Melia. The food was great and we had a special dinner prepared for us by the head chef. 5 stars all round.

Our stay here was one of the best overall experiences we've had at a resort. The room and the private pool were spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The bed, linens and seating were comfortable, and the amenities of a high quality. The layout of the room and pool area was perfect, with easy access to the shower and bathroom from the pool, and a combination of sunny and shaded areas/times of day. We spent so much time lounging here and loved every minute of it. The rest of the resort was equally impressive, with two other pools that were never too busy or crowded, plenty of poolside seating as well as loungers by the beach, and access to the quiet and secluded Mai Khao beach. The food was of a high quality, both the a la carte lunch and dinner options as well as breakfast, which changed daily and featured a fantastic mix of Asian, Spanish and typical western breakfast choices. Everything we ate, at breakfast and at other times of day, was delicious, particularly the Thai options. And the cocktails were fantastic as well. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, mostly notably the very kind and warm service in the restaurants. And we enjoyed the well equipped gym as well. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a little luxury for a very reasonable price. Overall a fantastic stay and a resort I would both return to and recommend to others!

The hotel is in a quiet, remote location, which makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms and facilities were super comfortable. The front desk staff were really friendly, Natt helped us with check-out and was especially kind and helpful. I’d stay at this hotel again for sure next time I’m in Phuket!🤍
