A Very Strange Experience – Honest Review to Help You Decide I'll try to write a very honest review to help someone avoid disappointment. The Room: We stayed in a Junior Suite, which looked just like the photos — spacious and clean. However, we were given a low floor, and the view was not as advertised — just rooftops and the pool. It ruined the first impression a bit, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Bathroom Doors: The toilet has glass doors that don’t close completely (photo). If you weren’t close with your partner before this trip — you definitely will be after it 😅. Towels: (photo) For a room costing over €400 per night, the towels could be in much better condition. Air Conditioning: It randomly turns on by itself. We tried to keep it off (as we both had sore throats), but at some point it just started blowing air again even though it was switched off. Music: From around noon to 11 PM, loud music blasts either from the nearby bar-club or from live performances near the pool. The same songs repeat on a loop. It’s so loud during the day that even with the balcony door shut and earplugs in, you can't nap. Forget about relaxation. Beach: One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for a sandy beach, as shown in the photos. In reality, when you leave the hotel, you’ll find a concrete platform with paid sunbeds (€60!). A bit further along, you’ll finally reach a public sandy beach. The hotel has no private beach. If you keep walking, you can find sunbeds + umbrella for €13. The Bay: The bay is packed with yachts — I counted 35 one day. I honestly don’t know how safe it is to swim around them. Dinner: Probably the only thing that felt worth the money. The food was excellent and varied every day — always a few types of fish, and even sushi or shrimp on some nights. Staff: The housekeeping ladies were lovely, but the rest of the staff… not helpful at all. Check-in took 20 minutes. When the same guy was on duty, the line was always huge. The poolside staff knew nothing about the beach — I asked if the hotel had sunbeds there, and they simply said they didn’t know. I also tried to get towels from the beach stand (with my towel card), and one staff member was handing me one when another literally shouted across: “Don’t give her that towel! Go back to the hotel pool!” Very odd behavior for such a pricey place. Dining Room Confusion: One morning at breakfast, a staff member blocked our way and told us to go to another room. So a few of us went there, grabbed plates, and then a different staff member yelled at us that this buffet wasn’t for us and we had to leave immediately — even though we were told to go there. Very uncomfortable and chaotic. Organization: Many things here just make no sense. For example, to get to breakfast, you can either go the short way through the hotel or take a longer walk outside. I used the short indoor route for a few days, then suddenly staff blocked it for no reason. Dinner Queue: At dinner, they intentionally create a long queue at the entrance, where we waited 20 minutes — even though there were many empty tables inside. Location: One of the few real advantages of this hotel is its location. While the center of the town is packed with bars, clubs, and crowds of tipsy teenagers wandering between them, the hotel is set apart from all that chaos — and that’s definitely a plus. Soundproofing: There's absolutely no soundproofing from the hallway. If early birds head to breakfast with their kids, you’ll hear every cheerful song and loud conversation echoing down the corridor straight into your room.
Mixed Feelings – Not Worth the Price Tag I was honestly hesitant about booking this hotel because the reviews are extremely mixed—some guests had an exceptional experience, others absolutely hated it. So I wondered, “Will I be one of the lucky ones?” As someone who always tries to stay neutral and fair in reviews, here’s my honest take: Rooms: Don’t expect too much. They’re very standard, and some are not well maintained. Several clearly need a major renovation. View: If you’re not lucky, you might end up with no view at all—or worse, a view of dirty streets and rooftops full of AC units. Not exactly what you hope for on vacation. Also, don’t expect the hotel to easily accommodate room changes. Housekeeping: One of the biggest letdowns. Housekeeping doesn’t come daily. On multiple days, our room wasn’t cleaned at all, even though we were out for most of the day. Service: The hotel operates more like a self-service setup. Staff aren’t particularly attentive—they’ll guide you if you ask, but don’t expect traditional service. For example, when we wanted drinks at the pool, we had to place our order at the bar and pick it up ourselves. Nothing was brought to us. That might be fine in a casual setting, but for a hotel that claims 4 stars, it felt off. Breakfast: It was okay. Nothing special, but it had the essentials and a decent variety for different tastes. Location: The location is decent, but beware of extra charges—parking, sunbeds, and more. These additional costs can pile up quickly. Atmosphere: Definitely more family-oriented. It’s not ideal for couples or honeymooners. There were kids everywhere, which can affect the overall vibe if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Security Concerns: Due to theft concerns mentioned in other reviews, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room. We kept all important items with us at all times. Would I recommend it? Honestly, no. Not for this price per night. You can find better service, more reliable rooms, and an overall smoother experience at other hotels in the same area.
I would like to share my experience at this hotel in a professional manner. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The receptionist Alex was unfriendly and lacked courtesy and proper guest service. Throughout our stay, no water was provided in the room. The bed was uncomfortable, and the towels were old and in need of replacement. Housekeeping service was below average. There was noticeable disorganization at the pool area, especially when trying to find a chair. No staff were available to assist with food or drink orders. The bar service was very poor — we had to wait over 10 minutes just to get one drink. Overall, the service quality was extremely disappointing compared to the amount paid. I strongly recommend the hotel management to reevaluate their service standards and provide proper training for their staff on how to professionally deal with guests.
