An excellent and incredibly comfortable hotel, wonderfully hospitable staff who helped us orient with the city and how to go about seeing it. They had excellent recommendations for food options and how to best plan a day. Located close to the Hospital Clinic metro station afforded easy access to the metro that ensured we could make quick transits for sight seeing and to meetings venues. A vibrant hotel in a vibrant city.

I arrived on a Saturday at midnight, exhausted after a 10-hour journey. I wanted nothing more than to rest. But the moment I laid my head on the pillow, I was hit by an unbearable smell of urine. The sheets looked clean, yet the stench lingered. I switched to the second bed — hoping it was an isolated issue. It wasn’t. I tried to rationalize: could it be dampness? A strong cleaning product? But no — it was unmistakably urine. At that hour, too drained to request a room change, I thought I’d at least open the windows for fresh air. To my surprise, they can’t be opened. With a mix of resignation and fatigue, I improvised: I covered my nose with my anti-face, placed towels and a T-shirt over the pillow… but the night was long, uncomfortable, and deeply unpleasant. Rest was impossible. The next morning, I left early and reported the incident at reception. They were courteous and assured me someone would contact me. It’s been four days. Nothing. A disappointing experience. The service had been flawless until that moment, but the condition of the room — and the complete lack of follow-up — left a bitter impression.

Very disappointing experience. During our stay, a shopping bag with newly purchased items disappeared from our room. At first, I thought it might have been an honest mistake, but after the hotel’s response denying any responsibility, it is clear this cannot simply be a misunderstanding. If the bag had been misplaced, the staff should have been able to find it. This leaves us with the strong impression that our belongings were stolen. The lack of proper investigation or resolution from the hotel is unacceptable. Be extremely cautious with your personal items if you stay here. The only good thing was the staff at the breakfast and restaurant.
