My son and I had a lovely time at Mena Palace. Fab location near central Sunny Beach. Room was serviced every day with clean towels and bed made so I’m surprised other reviewers experienced otherwise. Food was fine for all inclusive - good variety of meat, veggies, salads and fruit. We ate out some evenings but very cheap to do so. Had to buy pool towels but could see that was standard at all hotels in the area and you can buy them cheap at every one of the numerous shops nearby. Great pool area and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor area. No problems getting seats or loungers but it was getting a bit busier the weekend we left. Thank you.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mena Palace Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that offer all the amenities you could need. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests, making the stay feel very personalized and welcoming. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic animation program run by Liza and Kristina. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and they went above and beyond to ensure that guests of all ages had a great time. The activities were diverse and well-organized, ranging from fun games and sports to engaging evening shows that entertained everyone. Liza and Kristina's passion for their work was evident, and they truly made the experience unforgettable. Overall, Mena Palace Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday destination. The combination of excellent facilities and the outstanding animation program led by Liza and Kristina makes it a perfect choice for families and individuals alike.
The apartment rooms seem very dated with worn furniture and uncomfortable beds some of the plug sockets didn't work and the Aircon was practically non existent, luckily we were able to switch rooms after a few nights after complaining to reception. The restaurant food is not catered for English guests and at best is Luke warm did try eating here twice and gave up , ended up eating out the rest of the week, pool bar staff are mostly good. The life guard at the pool was lovely and managed to get us sunbeds as people had just dumped their stuff on them & left. The doughnuts and ice cream are worth waiting for , over all I would say the hotel could benefit from major makeover.
