Mendi Hotel

The hotel has a beautiful garden (more beautiful live than in pictures) the rooms are clean and nice. There is no crowd on the beach, the sea is very clean, the pool with salt water is excellent. The location is good. Recommended for families with children who want to rest. A car is needed to go around a bit more. In my opinion, the food is ok, nothing spec,but ok. We had a problem with check-in. Namely, with the reservation, I had the option to choose the time of arrival (two offered), I chose 10 am. After that, I received a message from the hotel that says the arrival time is 10 am. I contacted the hotel again and there was a mistake in the price, which I accepted, but no one mentioned that it is not possible to check in at 10 am, as I was offered. With two children, one of whom is a baby, after a long journey, it was impossible to wait. At the reception, we received misunderstanding and lack of interest. All in all it can't spoil the overall picture and the rest of the staff was great. I hope that by the end of the trip we will not have any more unpleasant situations.

First and foremost, it's a great choice for families with children. The entire facility is clean, well-organized, and has everything you could need: a pool, green space, a restaurant, a beach, a children's playroom, and a park. The receptionist lady is always helpful and helpful . It's a great choice for those looking for a wonderful, peaceful family vacation. The location alone makes it a convenient option for traveling by car.

Isolated place, far enough from regular summer touristic noise but close enough to other nearby villages if you like more crowd. Beautiful exterior, very well kept, green grass, olive trees, palms and lot of different greenery and flowers. Enough sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool and in the garden area as well as at the beach (those at the beach are extra paid and this i really dont know why). Whole place is very clean and housekeeping service is doing their job very good. Lack of animation programs (having in mind that place is out of village). Big and secure car parking. Food is ok, although dinner is not exactly kids friendly, having in mind that most of the kids prefer pomme frites, burgers, nuggets and simillar to tasty home made Greek dishes that were served every evening. Very good coffee for breakfast (from coffee machine). "Pancakes and bacon section" had strange working time, woman who prepares it on the spot for breakfast, appears sometimes, sometimes not, no info about it anywhere, if you catch her on site its just a luck. Easy to travel by car, from Thessaloniki there are lot of direction boards that lead you to Kassandra peninsula and to Kalandra (Mendi hotel) that is 2km after Possidi.
