Mer Can Story Apart Hotel

We have been here several times over the last 16 years. It was ideal for us with a young family when we first came as everything we needed was so convenient. The same counts now as we are a little older with no children with us. The accommodation is ideal for our requirements. The beach is literally a 20-30 second walk from apartments and the waiters tend the customers all day with excellent and friendly service. Can and his family and his staff have become friends and are all so helpful with advice and friendly banter, and go all out to make your holiday experience a happy one. Wonderful week in lovely accomodation, in a perfect location on Yalikavak beach. The apartment was basic but with all that you need and was clean. The complex is nicely done with white washed apartments and bouganvillia everywhere. The bar area is inviting as is the pool which is a lovely temperature because it's in the sun all day The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you, 5 star service from all of them. I really enjoyed my week and will certainly return again.

Finally visited after 3 years of carrying over booking due to Covid19 (14th-21st June 2022) and was not disappointed. Lovely apartment, excellent location, brilliant and helpful staff and very good menu (once you realise you need to use the QR code). Yalikavak centre is minutes walk away yet the location of the property means you only require transport if you intend to tour. Highly recommend this establishment and John (manager) and his team. Visited Yalikavak several times now and if returning again, the Mercan-Story will be top of our list to stay at.
