What a beautiful place the Mercer Plaza is! We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay at this hotel, and the staff were so attentive, welcoming and friendly at every interaction. We couldn’t fault the room at all - the rain shower, the comfortable bed and high quality bed linen, the evening turn down service all made for a luxurious stay. The location also can’t be beaten. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back! Thank you Mercer Plaza team!
We stumbled across this place trying to find somewhere in the late evening sunshine. Incredible service and the tapas was delicious. Best gin and tonic I’ve ever had. Thank you Mercer Plaza Sevilla for a wonderful evening.
Hardware of this hotel is very good - great location, lobby is a little old fashioned but the rooms are modern and well designed. Main problem was the software - concierge service was disappointing for this calibre of hotel. Aside from taking forever to answer calls, there was no proper handover between staff - we personally asked front desk to help us call this spa outside to check for availability before leaving for the morning tour. They had pushed for us to book their hotel spa which is something like €220 for 90 minutes for an in-room massage which is not very competitive pricing wise so we insisted on the outside one we found. When we came back after lunch asking for the response, the front desk was clueless, so we repeated our request while we waited in our room. 15 minutes later we gave up and booked something ourselves then finally front desk called saying they've booked the in room massage for us even though we've explicitly asked them not to. Another problem was this box labeled "shower cap + sewing kit" among the vanity provided that looked a little different from others. When we decided to use a shower cap on the second night of our stay (aka this box has been there for at least two days) we noticed this box had already been used with the seal broken and a stain on the side. We called front desk and after forever they finally said they don't even provide shower caps which means this is not their vanity kit and probably something previous guests left behind. Super gross and surprising how housekeeping didn't recognise their own products. Again great hardware, just need a good manager to fix up the software.
