Mercure Arras Centre Gare

What a nice hotel at a very good price! An elevator straight up from the parking garage. Quick walk to the old squares. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Modern decor and such comfy beds. We speak a bit of French, and most of the staff spoke a bit of English so we muddled through nicely. The staff was so helpful we had a lovely, lovely stay. And the best part? Breakfast. Absolutely amazing. None of our group could find one negative thing to say about this property.

We had a few poor experiences with Mercure Hotels in the past but our stay in Arras has restored our faith in the chain. The hotel is really well located, 5 min walk to the historic centre and easy to find. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, from reception to bar and restaurant. The food was good at a reasonable cost. Our room was warm and bright and very quiet!

Perfect overnight stay on our way back to UK. All Staff we encountered in the hotel & restaurant were exceptional & very friendly. At check in we were upgraded to a lovely room on the fourth floor which included free drinks & tea & coffee. The underground car park is excellent & I don’t understand past negatives (12€ per night) & lift access to hotel & well signposted. Having travelled all day we just wanted to relax in the hotel & eat at the restaurant .. the restaurant’s food & service was beyond expectations & in my opinion value for money. The breakfast exactly the same - top quality & reasonable. Would we stay here again- absolutely & maybe for few days next time.
