Mercure Bangkok Surawong

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mercure and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable - everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transport. What truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding service. I'd like to give special thanks to Benz, the receptionist, whose warm welcome and professionalism stood out. Benz was incredibly helpful throughout my visit - always smiling, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. She made check-in a breeze and provided great recommendations that enhanced my stay

Stayed 6 days at Mercure Bangkok Surawong and really enjoyed it. The service was great from check-in to check-out. The hotel feels new, bright, and super clean. Bed and pillows were really comfy. Breakfast had a good variety each day, and the coffee wasn’t bad either. Overall, a great stay for a decent price.

4.5! We recently stayed here for 5 nights & here are our thoughts. PROS: - amazing value for money considering the posh room. It was modern, clean, and spacious. We also love the separate shower and toilet area. We also appreciate the Smart TV and we had a pretty good view of the city. - daily housekeeping and they refill your bottled water! - attentive and helpful staff who opened doors for us, helped with our luggage (I kid you not—even at midnight.) The front desk was also very helpful and went above and beyond when a food delivery guy mistakenly didn’t deliver our food. - this area seems to be more quiet but still had a lot of good and notable restaurants around, a convenience store, etc. Without traffic, it was a 10-12 min drive to Chinatown, 15 mins to Siam Paragon mall. If you prefer somewhere less touristy, this is the place. CONS: - weirdly, the room temperature gets warm in the middle of the night and you can only do a maximum of 24 deg C. Obviously, because of the humidity, we wanted the room really cold - no iron in the room which I guess you can request for - the gym is pretty basic, just a couple of treadmills, an elliptical machine, and some weights, but they provide water and towels! Overall we loved our stay!
