5 star review based solely on Dio's service alone. We came for Iftar and there were some mishaps however Dio's excellent service made up for it - hats off to him. Very good to see some high quality ingredients in Banjarmasin, we will be back.

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago, and I regret to say that it does not live up to its 4-star rating. Firstly, the room was not clean upon my arrival. In addition, I encountered several plumbing issues and reported them to the staff, but no action was taken to resolve the matter. Secondly, the refrigerator in the room was broken and failed to cool properly. Despite raising this concern, nothing was done to address it. Moreover, the food quality was disappointing, and I was repeatedly disturbed by loud noises—children, construction, and general noise—throughout my floor. When I expressed my concerns, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. This left me perplexed; is it not the primary purpose of a hotel to provide a restful environment? Lastly, the service was subpar. The staff struggled to communicate effectively in either English or Indonesian, as they primarily spoke a local dialect. I also had an unpleasant experience with the female receptionist when I requested an additional key card for my wife, she rudely responded that they had run out of cards. Given these numerous issues, I will not be returning to this hotel.
