I was on a business trip and spent two nights at the hotel. The location is central yet pleasantly quiet. I felt completely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a fine selection of Swiss specialties. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall I had a good stay at the Mercure Hotel. The room was very nice with a highly conforttable bed and hard pillows, which I like a lot. The downside with the service was several malfunctioning of my key card. I had to reactivate it multiple times and for one instance I was questioned whether I was truly a guest of this hotel. It did not help that the receptionist did not speak proper German nor English.
Really lovely hotel with a decent breakfast. I did go to the bar. Ordered a bellini, which i regretted after one sip. They made me a different drink, but I had to pay for both regardless. Which is why the service isn't getting full stars. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.
