Mercure Birmingham West Hotel

A quick overnight during a trip from Seattle and the staff was fantastic . We arrived shortly after the kitchen closed, and the kitchen staff still made us amazing pasta dishes. We were able to overcome our jet lag as our room temperature was nice and cool. The breakfast buffet was great and they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. We didn’t use the pool or the gym but they looked good!

The room was great, the bed and pillows were wonderful. The breakfast was tasty warm and fresh each morning. Excellent customer service from every member of staff with a stand out being Marital on the reception desk, she couldn't be more helpful.

The staff make this hotel. From our welcome to departure Mairita on reception was an absolute star making us feel at home from our first encounter. The same is true of the bar staff who were engaging and cheerful great customer service. The rooms were clean and functional although the bed had probably seen better days as it was rather lumpy. Food was fine and h breakfast provided choices for all palettes.
