Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

I stayed at this hotel yesterday to celebrate a special anniversary, and the experience was truly wonderful. The hotel is clean, elegant, and very comfortable directly in front of the beach. Our room was peaceful and cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The staff was warm and professional throughout our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Stefanie at the front desk — your kindness, attention to detail, and warm welcome made our celebration even more special. We felt truly cared for and appreciated every thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return for another special occasion.

Located on the seafront the hotel is well located and an easy walk or quick Uber into the bustling night live in the town centre. Clearly an old building, so full of nice architecture. The room was well appointed with excellent views. Nice bathroom, very comfortable bed and amazingly quiet with the window shut - it had air conditioning so perfectly comfortable too. Breakfast gave a nice selection of fresh foods so could not fault that either Lost 1 star on the car park - it is great they have one but 1. It is small and on a first come first served basis and 2. It is incredibly tight to manoeuvre in so not for the faint hearted!

It is a moderate 4-star hotel. A new experience for me was finding an additional pillow and duvet in a plastic bag inside the shelf. I also found it hilarious (in a good way!) how they managed to fit everything you might need — a fan, an iron, and even an ironing board — into one small shelf. Breakfast was okay, nothing too fancy, but the view from the breakfast room is exceptional
