Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel

A great welcome. The 'spin the wheel' for loyalty customers upon check-in was fun and gave us a complimentary dessert with our evening meal - a nice touch. Staff were friendly and professional, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were delicious.

Lovely old building in a peaceful rural location very close to Bristol. Excellent staff throughout, all so helpful, courteous and friendly. Excellent food in the restaurant. The rooms and the decor in places is getting a bit tired and some areas need a refurb but overall it’s a big thumbs up from me.

This hotel is set in a large country manor with nice exterior grounds. While the interior feels a bit dated, my room was recently renovated and comfortable. However, others require attention— carpets were visibly worn, and cleanliness standards fell short of expectations. In fact, my colleague decided to check out early due to the condition of their room. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was to a decent level. With improved maintenance and deeper cleaning in certain rooms, this could be a good place to stay.
