Mercure Brussels Centre Midi

If you are looking for a hotel in Brussels next to Midi Train Station, then the Hotel Mercure Brussels Centre Midi should be on your checklist. I love this hotel. This is my third time here and I love the location because it is a seven-minute walk to the train station. The hotel has had quite a lot of construction in front of it for years now, but don’t let that deter you because the hotel has so many positive aspects. The hotel has large rooms and great air-conditioning for the heat of summer. The rooms also have small fridges to keep drinks cold. I appreciate that the rooms are quiet, so you can really unwind after a long day. There is a nice fitness center, but my favorite aspect of the hotel is the wellness area. They have a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna to keep you relaxed and energized. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are attentive. I love staying here and even though some people have reported the area is not so attractive, I would argue that it is perfectly fine. I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I pass through Brussels.

Room was big, clean, neat, have everything you need. Bed was comfortable, the view was not great tho. Some staffs were lovely and helpful, some are not. The only good thing of the location is just the distance to train station, but the all over feeling i got from the hotel area is "bronx", dirty, many homeless immigrants, beggars, huge construction right in front of the hotel.

The hotel as perfectly fine. Nice sized rooms and the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was good and bad. Good being only a few minutes walk from the train station, yet the area was rather sketchy with street construction going on. Overall though, the hotel itself was a good place to stay if you prefer to be by the station.
