Mercure Curitiba Golden

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Place was in a great location, beautiful inside. One complaint is the pool is too hot! A heated pool is nice but it shouldn't feel like a hot tub. Not refreshing and not good for toddlers.

Upon arriving at the Mercure Golden, we received a warm and friendly welcome. Through Google Translate we were able to communicate and there were a few employees who spoke English, so that was very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. We stayed in the apartment and had 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms which was perfect for my husband & I plus our adult daughter. There was also a living/dining area with a counter, refrigerator and stove top making it easy to prepare simple meals and keep food in the room. Because of the high speed WiFi, my husband was able to work while in Curitiba. Housekeeping came and cleaned everyday and were very kind and respectful of us. The restaurant served breakfast daily, but there were not a lot of things to eat that were gluten-free, so we had breakfast in our room. Lunch & dinner menus had plenty of options for us, so we did eat at the restaurant later in the day and had room service. The laundry service did a fantastic job on our clothes which was great since we stayed for 10 days. They have a parking valet service which was helpful so that we could just drive up to the door and they took our car down into the garage where it was secure and off the street. There are lots of shops and restaurants within a few blocks and we never felt threatened or any kind of danger. Thank you Mercure Golden and Curitiba for a wonderful stay!!!

It was all nice and everything went well. The hotel is well equipped and clean. The restaurant was a plus, the pool was perfect. Everyone was very kind and helpful.
