Mercure Firenze Centro

We had a great stay at the Mercure hotel in Florence. The staff are all lovely - friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious for the three of us. I appreciated the filtered chilled water available in the lobby for refilling bottles. Location is good, a very short walk from the railway station and close to all the sights. Breakfast had reasonable variety. Shower door didn’t seem to close properly so it was difficult to shower without getting a lot of water on the floor (but that was a minor issue).

We had a great stay at Mercure Firenze Centro. The location is easily the best part. It’s right in the heart of Florence and just a short walk from the main train station, which was super convenient since we were traveling with large bags. We were able to walk to all the major spots, including the cathedral and the bridge where you can catch the sunset. It really makes exploring the city effortless. The service was excellent, too. We were welcomed by a staff member named Chiara, who was lovely and very helpful. We really appreciated that she was able to accommodate our request for a late check-out. It made a huge difference on our last day. Overall, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The room itself was spacious and very clean, exactly what we expect from the Mercure standard. They also have a coffee machine and a water dispenser available in the lobby for guests to use, which was a nice little extra touch. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Florence.

The stay at the hotel was great and very comfortable. I really liked the location — just a 15-minute walk from the center of Florence. The reception staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us in the best way to make the most of our stay. If I ever get the chance to visit Florence again, I would absolutely choose Mercure Firenze Centro Hotel.
