Mercure Hangzhou Qingchun

Absolutely unacceptable experience over 3 days of stay. The hotel’s refusal to allow arranged vehicles access to the sheltered entrance showed a complete lack of consideration for guest comfort and basic hospitality. My family and I was forced to walk 30m just to get to and from the arranged vehicle in the open during rainy days. Frankly shocked that such a policy exists at a supposedly reputable establishment. This is not just inconvenient; it’s a failure in guest service and common sense. What’s the point of having a covered entrance if guests are denied access to it when it’s needed most? To make matters worst, staff was inconsistent in enforcing it. Allowing some to use while rejecting others. Such policy is thoughtless and needs urgent review.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, so only breakfast is available, any other meal is not. Noone in the hotel speaks English. On Sunday morning (very early) they started construction works, which were very loud. We complained and noone cared. Then I went for breakfast and the yoghurt was expired a WK before. I would expect a better performance from an International hotel chain. I am never coming back.
