Mercure Hotel Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station

Excellent location—just a 5-minute walk from both the train and bus stations. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; my two kids absolutely adored them! The rooms were very clean, quiet, and in great condition. Breakfast was perfect, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, a wonderful stay in Amsterdam!

Great location—just a 5-minute walk to Sloterdijk Station, with a quick 5-minute train ride to Amsterdam Central. There’s also a SPAR just 3 minutes away on the way to the station, which is super convenient if you need to grab anything when heading out or coming back. The hotel felt brand new, with spacious rooms and even more spacious, spotless bathrooms. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay.

A very good stay overall, though there were a few hiccups. We weren't able to check in on time because all the rooms weren't ready until nearly 4pm. The restaurant couldn't find our breakfast paid bookings, so instead of sorting it out later, they made us go down to talk to reception, which was really not the way to do it when we had hungry young kids and elderly folks in the group. The bed in the triple room were not a double bed, it was two twins pushed together and a sofa bed. They were comfortable beds though. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, and rooms were spacious, well designed and comfortable.
