Mercure Hotel Bad Duerkheim An Den Salinen

Very good quality Mercure Hotel in excellent location. I come here since many years. Nice rooms especially those facing the saline. Good restaurant and nice bar with a big sunny terrace. Good mercure winelist and great food. Breakfast is extensive and good. Many good restaurants and wine cellars around. Just off the highway but also has a railway station.

We spent a weekend in the hotel, in fact, it was our third stay at Mercure Hotel Bad Dürkheim. The hotel rooms are a bit old fashioned but still nice and comfortable. We booked a suite (can only be booked by calling the hotel) to accommodate the whole family in one room. The suite is really spacious, has a nice terrace and offers a beautiful view (see picture attached). We all loved the breakfast! It is one of only few hotels we visited in the past year that still offers freshly squeezed orange juice from the buffet. Also the food selection and quality was very good. The service was very friendly and helpful both at the front desk and at the restaurant. They all made an effort to make it a very pleasant stay for us and solve minor issues immediately. The connection to the swimming pool is perfect for kids as we could refresh our self after a nice walk in the area and had a full day program during a rainy day. However, it's a public bath and therefore mostly crowded during the weekend. If you want to use the sauna, you need to pay 3 Euros at the bath to add this option to your free entrance ticket which was provided by the hotel. We really like the hotel and the Pfalz and will be back soon!

Very helpful staff, great food in the restaurant, excellent connection with the Poll ( salinen) - free of charge. My room was renovated ( opposite experience to other guests) perfectly clean, very happy now
