I agree that the hotel hardly deserves its 4 stars. I've actually stayed in 2 star hotels I was happier with. Especially the bathroom is super tiny and the shower was clogged. Also, the quality of the internet is poor. And when you enter the room you see a bottle of mineral water with a welcome note. Then you notice that the water actually costs 5.5 euro. I was afraid to touch the small chocolates left there fearing I will have to pay for them some crazy amount when leaving. Friendly staff. I haven't been to the restaurant so I can't assess that. When choosing the hotel be aware that it's not in Bad Homburg, it's in Friedrichsdorf.

Out of date, run down shows its age, off the beaten path. Clean, safe area. Does not work well for travelers without vehicle. Staff is friendly but not very helpful. Excellent rates for what you get. Near large grocery store, rooms while not huge well laid out and equipped. Parking was not a problem, bathroom well laid out and spacious. Our most recent stay the front desk could not find all our rooms with reservation number. The Accord app showed the resevation, dates and rooms but the staff ignores the app.

Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. One pillow for my wife and I. Over priced restaurant. Terrible location. Tiny room with nicks and scratches on everything. Dirty shower and lousy customer service. This would be a sloppy $35 a night motel back in the states at best. I hope they put my 80 euro to good use. Oh and the roomed smelled like the inside of a fish tank.
