Mercure Hotel Berlin Tempelhof

I loved this hotel! I was on the 6th floor and it was very quiet. I had a really nice view and a window that opened. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff was friendly. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, ample space to unpack and store your suitcase, multiple mirrors in the bathroom (with excellent lighting), air conditioning and a large bathroom. The bathroom had a very large tub which was perfect to soak in after long days walking around. The water pressure and temperature range were excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was even an extra pillow in the closet if necessary. I loved that there was a light switch above the bed to make going to bed at night easier. The furniture and design of the rooms is maybe a little dated but I would prefer that over a cheap renovation to make things modern like many hotels do. It truly felt like a luxury stay. The hotel is walking distance to the Bodinstraße U-Bahn stop, as well as multiple bus stops. I felt comfortable walking around at night and the hotel was very safe. Some comments about the hotel being in a dirty area or not liking the vibe of the neighborhood should do further research on which neighborhood in Berlin they are staying in next time. Every neighborhood is different and I happen to prefer this area to many in Berlin. I also knew I would not be arriving to the hotel until 21:30, so I emailed the hotel in advance and had no issues checking in. I will definitely consider this hotel for my future visits to Berlin.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. Rooms were very spacious and has all the facilities that we needed, with many complimentary items. Breakfast was very good with a lot of items to select from, though a bit expensive compared to UK prices. Fitness center was also good. The hotel is also close to a lot of shops and restaurants and has good transport connections. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The room was spacious, quiet and clean, contained all the necessary equipment. The hotel gets bonus points for being situated close to one of the best bakeries in the neighborhood.
