Good hotel. Good rooms. Good service. Room not serviced every day though. Tried hard for my coeliac problem. Gym hopeless 3 machines in grim basement. Good location. Inexpensive. Coffee machine in room. Reception lent me a kettle.
Hotel nicely situated in the South of the center of the city. As Dortmund is not a big city everything within the center is walkable. Great famous bakery around the corner. It has a nice small private parking and expect to pay a premium price for it. Room was ok, unfortunately no fridge. During my stay the part of the hotel I was put was being renovated. Expected a little more for a 4 star hotel.
My wife, 2 kids and I stayed here on April 6, 2023. Unfortunately we had the worst travel experience ever. A very rude receptionist officer made this a nightmare for us. When I asked for extra pillows, he was loud, rude and, sad to say, made racist remarks! I reported this in a clear email to Accor customer relations, which ended up with nothing other than silly 'sorry, but no we're not' emails. So unfortunate.. I am avoiding all Accor chain hotels since then.
