Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf Neuss

This is a great hotel with a fantastic location for Dusseldorf and the wider area. We were greeted by two attentive male colleagues on the reception desk on Friday. Very helpful and they spent their time to introduce us the their membership scheme which rewarded loyalty from our stays. The bar was closed that evening, they were still on hand from our day out to provide us with some german beer freshments. Still with a welcoming smile and personable manner. The breakfast is always a delight and myself and my friend stayed for 2 breakfasts over the weekend. No complaints there and always clean, tidy and delicious! Thanks again for all your help! Very professional and its always a pleasure to stay at your hotel. This has been a highly dependable hotel for our group of friends for nearly ten years now. We thoroughly enjoy coming back because of its great location and ease of access to the local motorway.

Staff are friendly and attentive, especially the gentleman in the late evening. He went out of his way to show me exactly where the overflow parking was because I was confused and it was past midnight and the main parking lot was full - kudos!

A small and cheap hotel in a green and quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is tasty and has a variety of choices for every taste. However, this hotel is showing signs of wear. It smells moldy, and the rooms don't have proper ventilation. If you leave the window open, you'll be woken up by traffic and roadworks very early in the morning. I couldn't find any proper snacks in the reception (although cold drinks were offered), and every nearby store was closed on Sunday. I would recommend this hotel only for a budget stay when driving through on a road trip.
