We chose this hotel because we were attending a Dua Lipa concert and it was close to the venue. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger room. The staff was very friendly and ready to assist us if needed. The hotel has a great location, close to a bus stop. The rooms are clean and quiet.
Positive: Service minded staff, good breakfast and a nice and spacious room Negative: to hard mattress/bed (at least for me) and the hallways is a bit worn and had a strange odour.
Probably the most dated Mecure I have been to thus far. My room was on first floor, decent size wise. Good sized bed, but only 2 thin pillows. Room was clean, only point I’d make was there was an empty tube of something (moisturiser) maybe, left on top of the wardrobe. There seems to be a significant lack of ironing boards here for the size of the hotel. And had to report to ironing my suit on a towel on the desk. Not favourable ahead of business meetings. Breakfast was good - decent choices both hot and cold, including smoked salmon on offer. If I was being picky, the fruit choices weren’t significant based on other experiences I’ve had.
