Mercure Hotel Kaiserhof Frankfurt City Center

The hotel is nice. If I come to Frankfurt again I will definitely stay there again. I have not had any problems with the surrounding area. There is a convenient grocery store right next to the hotel, as well as plenty of food options nearby. The transport links are excellent. There was no noise in the room from the street. Unfortunately I was not recognized as an Accor Gold member. Also the breakfast was more Ibis style than Mercure. Overall I am satisfied.

I’m generally skeptical about hotels near main train stations in Germany, but this one exceeded my expectations. I felt completely safe throughout my stay, and the location—just a 5-minute walk from Frankfurt Main Station—was incredibly convenient. The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The curtains don’t block any light,they’re completely ineffective at darkening the room. The lighting was harsh and clinical, like in a hospital, bright white with no ambiance. The room also had a dusty, old smell that was quite unpleasant. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room at all, making it uncomfortable, especially at night. I was told late checkout wasn’t possible because the hotel was fully booked. But when I asked if I could pay extra, it suddenly became available for €50. That was dishonest. The only good thing was the location near the main train station.
