Mercure Hotel Mannheim am Friedensplatz

I would like to thank you very much for the great service and service at the hotel. We spent a wonderful weekend at the hotel with my friends during Time Warp. The rooms are super clean and very well maintained. The bathroom is amazing. I especially have to say about the service at the bar, I have never seen such professional service before. I will definitely go back there!!!

This hotel doesn't provide what a chain brand should provide which is the same experience wherever you stay. There is one advantage: price. For the rest I have only complaints. A/C was barely working and was loud. My coffee/tea was not replenished during room service. During 3 night stay, one day the room was not cleaned at all, just like that, skipped. Once I went to the bar to redeem my welcome drink, I've waited for anyone to appear for at least 10 minutes, only to hear that they don't have lager beer, I mean seriously? I can get a glass of lager on the glacier, airplane and everywhere else, but not in the hotel bar? This hotel requires new management and a renovation.

Not all rooms have a refrigerator, coffee maker, or hot water pot. Very busy weekend - full hotel, and only one operational elevator. The elevator was extremely slow, used by all guest and housekeeping staff for moving dirty linens. Breakfast and other meals were good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Based on conveniences, equipment, and amenities, it should be a two-star, not a four-star. I apologize for insulting some two-star hotels I've stayed in because they were better!
