Mercure Hotel München Freising Airport

All in all a great stay - very friendly and attentive staff that are clearly doing their best to make everything run smoothly. The room wasn't quite ready when I wanted to check-in: the staff explained that they had been fully-booked the night before for several events, were very apologetic and gave me an upgrade to a higher category with a delightful view overlooking the cathedral and garden. Room was ready within the hour. Easy and pleasant walking distance to the main attractions of Freising and the city centre with bars, restaurants and shops. Very handy for Munich airport, with the transfers made easier by helpful and timely information from the receptionists. Will certainly be back!

This is a great place to stay if you're going to the airport. It's a better alternative than staying in Munich. We had to move rooms because there was a maintenance issue in the first room. The second room was in great condition, and the AC was working really well. The hotel offers parking at 12 Euros a day. Breakfast is served at their restaurant at 24 Euros per person. Staff is friendly. We use Munich as a home-based zone when flying in and out of Europe. This will definitely be our hotel from now on. Bus #635 goes to Munich Airport from the Train Station. Euro 4.10. Freising is also a nice little town to have a meal in if you have the time.

Terrible service from the front desk attendant. Both male night attendants were extremely rude to our travel guide and had to audacity to call her stupid. They couldn't accommodate our large group and instead of helping they were extremely rude. Rooms don't have A/C and some rooms didn't even have a fan. Fortunately, my room was located across from the main building. It had 3 windows that allows for the air to flow nicely. We arrived later in the evening and the restaurant was not open and there wasn't anything open nearby. The only options to get a meal were the sandwiches offered at the lobby. The breakfast was plentiful and the sitting area was pleasant. However, with the treatment that my group, guide and driver received, I would not recommend this hotel.
