Just one criticism, which may only apply to certain rooms. There was very little privacy with regard to the bathroom, just clear glass between you and the rest of the room. This was certainly an issue for my teenage children. The toilet could do with a wooden door, again to provide some level of privacy.
Disappointing Experience Not Worth 4 Stars Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far below the expectations one would have for a 4-star property. I would honestly rate it closer to 2 stars based on the overall condition and experience. Parking is a major issue the on-site spaces are extremely limited and perpetually overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to find a spot. The exterior of the building is outdated and poorly maintained, giving a tired first impression. Inside, the lobby continues the theme with its worn and dated interior. The elevator creaks noticeably, and the rooms themselves are disappointing. Upon entering, I was met with a strong scent of cheap male perfume, likely an attempt to mask the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The condition of the bathroom was the biggest concern: the showerhead was caked with limescale and grime, clearly not cleaned in a long time. Below the towel rack, there were disturbing buildups of residue, and the sink showed heavy scaling and hidden dirt around the faucet. To make matters worse, I found long black hairs on the pillow in the supposedly freshly made bed an unsettling indication of poor housekeeping. Even more surprising, room cleaning is not provided daily and is only available upon request a service level unacceptable for a hotel in this category. On a positive note, the view of the city is beautiful, and the front desk staff are friendly and do their best to accommodate guest requests. However, it’s unfair to expect the front staff to compensate for the hotel’s overall shortcomings. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating and is significantly overpriced for what it offers. It will be my last stay here, and I sincerely hope a professional hotel review body will reassess its rating soon.
Small room and very small bathroom. Unfortunately coming at the wrong timing during the concert outside the hotel, very noisy all day until late night. Rude receptionist during check-in, very cold, unfriendly, and unaccommodating, he's unhappy foreign guy with long dark bun hair. Never gonna come back here again just cause of this rude employee.
