Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru

I give this hotel five stars. The room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was spotless. All the essentials were provided. The staff were professional, polite, and multilingual, and they offered us helpful information throughout our stay. The pool was excellent, and the Jacuzzi was very relaxing. The complimentary breakfast is great. The only suggestion I have is to place a bucket of water in the sauna room.

Staff very friendly. The Paraguayan dish for 2 from the restaurant was absolutely delicious. we had it 3 times in 2 days. Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful hotel and location. Beautiful landscape and scenery.

We stayed at Mercure Iguazú Hotel Iru for 3 nights and had a relaxing stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel offers great amenities like a Sauna room and indoor jacuzzi – perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The continental breakfast was lovely, with fresh and tasty options beautifully presented. The front desk staff were fantastic – very friendly and spoke excellent English, which made everything easy and smooth. The hotel is located about 3 km from downtown, so you’ll need to call a taxi if you want to explore the city or go out for dinner. We tried the hotel restaurant one night and ordered the spare ribs and risotto. Unfortunately, the ribs were a bit tough and the risotto was too salty. Also, the restaurant staff spoke very limited English, which made communication a bit tricky during dinner. Overall, this is a comfortable and peaceful hotel with excellent service and facilities. Just keep in mind that dinner might be better enjoyed elsewhere.
