From start to finish, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of incredible. The level of service and attention to detail made it one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Room service was top-tier—quick, professional, and always delivered with a smile. Every request was met with ease, and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and cared for. But the real showstopper? The breakfast buffet. It honestly felt like a scene from a movie. The selection was outstanding—fresh pastries, made-to-order omelets, fruits beautifully displayed, and every dish perfectly prepared. It was so much more than just breakfast—it was an experience. My stay was absolutely wonderful!!!
This is my second stay at Mercure Istanbul and I would like to start by giving a warm thank you to the cleaning staff. You can really tell they work extremely hard. The rooms are spotless and the turnover service is excellent. The spa area is lovely and peaceful, providing a perfect place to relax. However, the pool area could use a bit of updating as it feels somewhat old and tired. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. I especially enjoyed the fresh lentil soup and the selection of fruits. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Honestly, I have no complaints and look forward to returning again.
I stayed at Mercure Istanbul Altunizade for a short trip and overall had a decent experience. The hotel’s location is definitely one of its strongest points – it’s close to public transportation and within easy reach of shops and restaurants, which made getting around quite convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with basic amenities provided. However, I felt that the decor and furniture could use some updating to match the modern standards expected from a 4-star hotel. A little more attention to detail in room maintenance would go a long way. In terms of service, it was a mixed experience. Some staff members were polite and helpful, while others seemed indifferent or not very engaged. A warmer and more consistent customer service approach would have significantly improved the stay. The value for money was fair – not overly expensive, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of overall quality and guest experience. If you’re looking for a convenient location and basic comfort, this hotel could be a good fit, but don’t expect anything exceptional.
