Mercure Launceston

The king room I received was flawless and meticulously clean. The amenities were heaven and even the electric jug was clean as I've ever seen in a motel room. The ability to adjust room temperature was delightful (after various stays elsewhere that had terrible room temperatures and no way to adjust it) the tv and couch were heavenly luxuries also not common anymore in other accommodations. Everything from comfort, cleanliness, to respect and kindness was great. The customer service was wonderful too as this was a last minute booking that the attendant didn't mind or treat us differently for. Infinitely my favourite room at this hotel, will indeed return.

Parking provided and safe, lovely welcoming staff on arrival, room very clean and fridge supplied with extras. We had a room overlooking the road and the park. Great to have a wonderful view. I love the little things they provided. Because the road has a low muffled noise, they provide you with ear plugs to get a silent night's sleep. I personally liked a bit of noise in the background. Lovely little shopping centre 5 minutes walk to the right and down the hill for any extra snacks or certain milk that you need. The titanium bar is a great cosy place to have meals and the atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are very accommodating for special dietary requirements. Would visit again.

I am in 2 minds about this hotel. It's the first time I have stayed here. The room is smaller than most of the other hotels I stayed in. The room was clean. I was unable to open the role up blinds to see the view. I would recommend you don't book a room that faces the front road. It made the room so noisy throughout the night. There are plenty of other rooms to choose from. The restaurant is fine and food ok. All the staff are all friendly.
