Mercure Lille Marcq en Baroeul

This hotel was fine and an easy walk to the tram into Lille center. The lobby and ground floors have been recently renovated, our room has not been. It was not cleaned the best and there was obvious wear and tear. The guinguette restaurant is a great concept and has good service.

Really nice hotel, in a business district but meant it was quiet and had everything we needed especially plenty of parking and very close to a tram stop. There is a lovely garden - we had a drink and dessert after coming back from Lille centre. We got a deal on the 2nd room for the kids and had been given interconnecting rooms which was ideal. Very good choice at breakfast ( additional charge with the booking we had). Very clean and spacious throughout.
