I enjoyed my two night stay Mercure Hotel Heathrow London. My room number was (035)ground floor. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very handy for bus and train to the airport. The staff were friendly, and the service at the breakfast each day of my visit and I thought it was well worth the money. I was very happy with the quality and variety of the food. I had dinner twice. Both meals were excellent. The first night was good service. Service the second night was a bit of a mess. Sometime I went bar side and enjoyed some drinks. Which was within fair value. The days will be memorable.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercure London Heathrow Hotel for 3 days, and I must say that the food and beverages department truly exceeded my expectations! The variety and quality of dishes served at the buffet were impressive, with something for every palate. From flavorful breakfast options to decadent desserts, each meal was a delight. The service staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was seamless. The hotel's restaurant and bar offered an impressive selection of beers and wines, and the ambiance was perfect for unwinding. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the food and beverages department at Mercure London Heathrow Hotel. The team's attention to detail, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine made my stay truly memorable.
Pros: location near the airport. Cons: Room was not clean, and on a state of disrepair. Decor looks like it would fit well with Full House in the early 1990s. Stains on the floor. Phone was broken. Bathroom sink was broken. They mop the front entrance around 9am and it is very slippery. That seems to be the only thing they clean on a daily basis. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. I acknowledge their commitment to sustainability over hygiene. We had 4 people in the room and they gave 2 towels. We called for 2 more and they never arrived. We shared the first day. When we returned that evening they had not made up the room. We called to ask and were told they don't do that. At all. So we asked for new towels and it was met with reluctance. Hotel bedding does not need to be changed every day, nor do towels as long as each person has one. But they don't even make the beds or do a cursory wipe in the bathroom. Windows are double glazed but one had a bent frame so allowed for a lot of road noise. Hallway has an unmarked level change on a patterned hallway - this is a trip and fall hazard. Limited TV channels, not even BBC. Rubbish outside door in the hallway. Only one room key provided for 4 people and it stopped working multiple times so we had to get it reactivated at reception. Staff were very blunt and not quite rude, but far from friendly and courteous. Not recommended place to stay.
