Mercure London Hyde Park Hotel

Great location near Paddington Station—super convenient for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We booked a standard king room, which was fine for what we needed. Just a heads-up: rooms are smaller than what you might expect if you're used to U.S. hotels, but it worked well for our three-night stay. Daily housekeeping was consistent, and the fridge was always restocked. Overall, a great experience. We’d definitely stay here again.

Sandwiched between Paddington railway station and Hyde Park this hotel is in a great location. The reception area is welcoming, clean and tidy. Our standard room was small, cramped even, but OK for the two nights we were there. Bed was very comfortable and outside noise not an issue. Shower pressure was good and there was plenty of room to move around in the toilet. Mini-bar was available and all contents were 'free' which included a small bottle of prosecco, cokes, water, and orange juice. On what were two very hot nights in London the air conditioning worked perfectly. At the price being paid I would have liked a coffee pod machine but there was a kettle. Ah yes, the price. It is expensive and I'm not sure it's value for money but I wanted to be within walking distance of Hyde Park and at the end of the day that's what I was paying for. Hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant but there is direct access to a Bella Italia although there are plenty of other places to eat within walking distance.

Very small but comfortable room. A/C was great to have and worked well. Great breakfast at Bella Italia (connected to the hotel). Unfortunately housekeeping never cleaned our room during our 3-day stay.
