The room was neat and tidy, bed comfortable, and serviced every day. It is near the Market, which is great for a bite to eat. I was worried about staying here after some reviews, the only thing we sew wrong was the hotel is older and needs a update, the sliding front door was somehow knocked off it rail and be prepared to hear the poeple above you walking.

Hotel is in a good location in the north of the city blocks. Easy walking distance or tram rides around the city. Hotel is run down and needs a freshen up. That said, the rooms cater for basic accomodation stays.

Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, and we booked through airbnb. TLdr would not recommend booking here Pros: The decor for the room was better than most hotels, and the location in the CBD of Melbourne made it very easy to walk or tram to various locations Cons: This overall appearance of the hotel was run down with damaged paint and light fixtures in the hall. In our room, we had a large amount of paint peeling around the extractor fan of the bathroom. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. Underneath the shower bench was large amounts of mould and soap scum. The coffee machine had also not been cleaned with visible debris built up inside it. The extractor fan outlet for the kitchenette is inside the room just higher up, making it pretty much useless. The windows are not tinted, which is especially poor considering that the inside of our room was easily viewable from the corridor. I'd honestly go elsewhere for the price point, it'd probably be cleaner
