I like this hotel, probably one of the best hotel I had stayed in Japan with relatively cheaper price. Room is spacious and with a big window and street view towards the Nagoya station. Very impressed is that they use wood brush, comb, shaver without any plastic which upgrade the quality of living here. Location is excellent with 3 mins to an exit of subway. A convenient store is just opposite to the hotel. I will stay again if I visit Nagoya again. Arigatou!
Old Japanese business style hotel slightly refurbished. Room was refurbished, the rest of the hotel outdated and bad smelling. Room air conditioning from a felt 20 years ago. Had to set at max 30°C to get some warmth into the room. As a platinum loyalty member there was no treatment of any kind. I have experienced way better in other Mercure hotels. Breakfast again not worthy of the brand, food cold and no coffee machine. Old business hotel, not recommendable and too expensive for what you get. Location is good, that’s about it.
Chose this hotel cause we were spending just a night and wanted something convenient and close by. The hotel and rooms are on the older side but it wasn't an issue. Reason for the low rating, is due to finding droplets of dried bood on the bedsheets that were not mine. Hence I call into question the quality of cleanliness of this hotel.
