Easy parking, close to the centre of the town and lots of restaurant choice within easy walking distance. Really friendly welcome. Spacious room, slightly old fashioned perhaps but very clean and a spacious bathroom. Bed was comfortable, appreciated having two chairs in the room as well. Very good breakfast with a lovely view of the magnificent Loire. Again, on check out, really friendly member of staff. Would definitely stay again.
The good: Friendly service, very close to the old center of town, the breakfast is delicious. Most important, the rooms are very clean. The bad: The hotel is really showing its age and could really use a complete makeover. If the Mercure name wasn't on the front of the hotel, I wouldn't want to stay in this place.
This hotel is very deceiving. You believe to have a "safe" choice by going to a Mercure hotel, but it is not the case. Rooms are very old and the food is extremelly bad : frozen, lame food. I wish to be exaggerating but I'm not. This hotel is just sad. Avoid if possible
